AMA Carrier Version 2

After selling my previous yellow WR17, realizing the error of my ways and buying another, I had to build the ama carrier arrangement again. I had an idea for a different arrangement this time.

The basic setup is the same as the original version, only the trailer tube parts are different here.

Instead of the guide posts going up insde the aka tubes, I thought it might be easier if the guide posts went around the outside instead.

So I found some black PVC that had an inside diameter slightly larger than the aka tube. The pipe is 3" diameter.

I used two square U-bolts at each of the four positions and mounted a pipe cap to the trailer frame.

In order to take some of the weight off of the amas up on top of the main hull, I put some foam in the bottom of each of the tubes so that the aka would rest partially on the foam.

I also cut the PVC pipe at an angle to try to help the loading process.
