This one is pretty straightforward.
I wanted a bit more support for the hull when I read about the cracking flanges and such on the forums. In and out of the boat on the trailer could put a bit of strain on things, I guess.
I basically put a V-shaped bow stop on the cross-beam of the trailer where it would hit the keel.
In order to get it set to the right height, I mounted the support, and then moved the bow stop forward and back (along with the boat) until it sat on it with the amount of weight I wanted.
Its critical that the support not be on the forward edge of the lowest keel-point, or else the boat may have a difficult time coming off the trailer if the ramp is not deep.
