Reusable Shackle Mousing
If there is sufficient room and you choose the ring and shackle correctly, a circle ring can be used to mouse the shackle, removed, and easily used again.
The normal caution arises with using these rings and their tendence to catch on things and get bent out of useful shape - so be careful when/how you used them.
I have used them on my shroud shackles for quite so
me time with no issues so far.
One advantage is that you can remove the ring from the shackle pin, and it stays with the shackle while you attach or detach the pin.
