Trampoline Hook
In a continuing effort to reduce the number of shackles needed at setup/takedown.......
This is a Ronstan RF50 hook, the smallest they have. The shackle stays on there permanently.
It lengthens the connection point, but that shouldn't matter since it can be taken up by the line at the other end. Also, most of the strain and force from use are perpendicular to the track.
With the aft line tight, there is no way the hook can come out.
I may try to open the eye and slip it into the webbing to reduce the connection length..
